South Coast adventure brings you to a beautiful scenery of Iceland´s south shore.
In this trip we embark on a magical journey to some of the most iconic natural monuments in our country.
The journey takes approx 9 -10 hours and you will see magnificent waterfalls, black sand beaches, glaciers, volcanos and typical Icelandic farms.
After pickup in Reykjavík we head over the Hellisheidi mountain pass, and view the Hengill volcano, home to one of the largest geothermal power plants in Iceland. Our aim is then to Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss which are both well known waterfalls for their wonderful drop, special walking paths around and above.
We travel then to the powerful black sand beach Reynisfjara which is pounded by the Atlantic surf and see, bird cliffs that surround the quaint coastal village of Vík í Mýrdal.
Recommended is that you wear suitable clothes and walking shoes depending on weather conditions.
